Maturity

It is a long time that I want to really start with writing here and I'm constantly postponing because I have to fulfill another deadline. Honestly said this might be the worst possible time to start, but I'm afraid if I at least don't begin with writing, I will forget what I wanted to write about this issue.

Since last month I'm constantly thinking that why I am still feeling like a teenager and in many senses I behave so or when due to my functions in society I have to act mature I still desire to act liek a teenager. This made me to ponder about similiarties and differences of my life when I was 18 and now.

The differences are clear: As I was 18 I was a freshman at University of Tehran and now I have ultimately finished my academic studies. Needless to say that I have had so much diverse experiences. I have travelled around the world, loved by many and loved many. I have achieved many of my ambitions.

Perhaps the best way to express what I am going to write here is explaining about the name of this weblog. I was walking through the valley of Moon, the sole narrow path toward the treasury building in the ancient city of Petra which shows up in the finale of the "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade" and therefore I couldn't help thinking about that film which was about a quest for finding the "holly Grail" the cup that Christ drank from in last supper and it is believed that gives eternal life to anybody who drinks from it. As Sean Connery said in the film to Harrison Ford: "Quest for the holly grail is not archeology, it's a race against the evil.” When I pondered my life that I like many others was also seeking eternity in my own way and there I said facetiously that I'm an "Imaniana Jones" in my own right and somehow I liked the name and told myself that if I ever decided to talk about the of my life’s journey and about it I will put it under this name and there we are.
I will talk about various issues here and although I’m really into politics I will try to avoid getting too political here. I will also do my best to write in English; however there would be inevitable situations that one can only express himself properly in his mother language.
